Team Purple Reign pays tribute to their devoted, long-suffering arts assistant, Mr Faulhaber in the fun and funky Boogie Wonderland. A character piece for a true character.

We celebrate sisterhood with a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the powerful women of history and fiction who have challenged the status quo, moved passed the stereotype of the female boss and dared to be more than just a damsel in distress.

Paradise Lost

Contrasting ritual movement and explosive jumps feature in this dramatic performance based on John Milton’s epic poem, Paradise Lost, which tells the story of Lucifer’s war on Heaven and Eve’s betrayal.  Danced to the music of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

We’re All Mad Here

We tumble down the rabbit hole, straight into a pack of cards in this chaotic, character piece inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, set to the music of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face and featuring original, filmed material. 

Crazy Train

Dynasty takes a mad journey on a Crazy Train to a lunatic asylum of the past (when mental health was more mental than helpful in a chaotic and darkly humorous performance inspired by One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and American Horror Story Asylum (in no way endorsed by any member of the royal family or qualified doctor).   

Born This Way

No one expects aliens to interrupt a cosy night at home with a good horror film, but these aliens just want to party and enjoy being themselves (“Don’t be a drag, just be a queen!”) because we are all Born This Way. 

See You Again

The upbeat music of country superstar Miley Cyrus’s See You Again gives the girls a chance to celebrate the pure joy of dance, including fun visual effects.  

Marry the Night

Forever waiting for a lover who will never come, the jilted, broken-hearted brides of the DDC wander the halls of a ruined mansion in this theatrical performance inspired by Charles Dickens’ memorable character from Great Expectations: Miss Havisham.  

Seven Deadly Sins

Sin consumes.  Sin lies.  Sin leads to dark and dangerous paths.  Set to the music of Rhianna’s Disturbia, Dynasty explores Envy, Sloth, Lust, Wrath, Greed, Gluttony and Pride in a unique dance routine depicting character, stereotype and disillusionment. 

Proud Mary

Just try and keep up with Dynasty’s signature performance of Ike and Tina Turner’s Proud Mary, featuring fast-paced, high-energy jazz moves and famous train line ending. 

Pilate’s Wife’s Dream

DDC turns to the Gospel of Matthew for a theatrical, abstract performance: as Pilate sits in judgement at the trial of Jesus Christ, his wife begs him to show mercy: "Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”
